Christopher Romano serves as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at Ramapo College of New Jersey. His portfolio of current responsibilities includes leadership of the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Affairs divisions. In his role, Chris oversees the College’s admissions, student success, career and academic advisement, Educational Opportunity Fund, specialized services, financial aid, student activities, student conduct, health and counseling services, marketing and communications, public safety, degree completion, athletics and residence life operations.
As an advisory committee member to FUEL, Chris assists with practitioner strategy and advice, and serves as a team member in our slateEDUCATE™ division. He has presented nationally on strategic enrollment management, student engagement, marketing/branding in the context of enrollment management, and developing institutional models for student success. He earned an Ed.M. in Higher Education Administration from Harvard University and a B.A. in International Relations from Saint Joseph’s University.
In his spare time, Chris spends time with his family and is the proud father of two children. Chris’ high energy level is routinely noted by his colleagues – to this end, he is no longer permitted to consume caffeinated beverages during the workday, unless it is enrollmentFUEL’s coffee, of course.
